Gold Bullion Exchange Review – Buy Gold and Silver

Gold Bullion Exchange Reputation
GBE Inc. has been accredited by the Better Business Bureau since 2012 and has been awarded an A- rating by them. The relatively short time the company has been in business most probably means that the BBB does not have sufficient data on it to award a higher mark. To date, there are no complaints and no government actions against the company listed on the BBB website.
Gold Bullion Exchange has an AA rating with the California-based Business Consumer Alliance. There also, no complaints have been filed against the company in the past three years, nor are there any government actions recorded against it.
There are no reviews or complaints about the company showing on either the ScamBook or the Complaints Board websites.
Company Website
The Gold Bullion Exchange website comes across as being more ‘Salesy’ than informative. For example, the home page features the chance to win a free silver coin just by linking a social media account to them. They claim to give away one Morgan silver dollar for every 100 interactions. This is a crafty way of allowing the company to harvest contact information from Google+, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube and could potentially open the way for an endless stream of unwanted solicitations, the online version of cold calling prospects.
GBE’s offering of precious metal coins on its website is extensive. As is the case with all online precious metals sites the Federal Trade Commission recommends that investors should do their own independent research into whether products offered are actually certified collectible coins rather than just taking a dealer’s word for a coin’s value.
While the site does contain a blog, at the time of writing the material appears to be merely a series of news articles relating to the price of gold (and the fantastic hoard of gold that a California couple found buried in their backyard!). There is no hard trend analysis to accompany the market price ticker found on each page.
Superficially at least the overall message from Gold Bullion Exchange appears to be focused on making sales, and lots of them. Other than cursory nods to secure online transactions and acceptance of credit cards, the only hints of customer service are boldly printed promises of low shipping costs and easy returns. There are not enough independent customer reviews to be found online to be able to gauge the level of customer service that the company offers, presumably because of the relatively short time that it has been in business.
Conclusion
There are insufficient online reviews from consumers that have used Gold Bullion Exchange’s services and bought products from them to give us a good reason to recommend them more so than many of their competitors. It is a good sign that no complaints about the company have been made on any of the main consumer advocacy websites but the fact that the company has not been in business that long has to be factored into this, particularly when comparing them with companies that have a much longer track record.
